An existing house, bulid in several phases. Family is using mostly the floor, which is tech­niclly an underground floor whith all its drawbacks. Living spaces are devided between two floors by not very confortable staircase. We were asked to find solution for bettering living arrangements for 3 adults (parents and grand parent) and 2 boys. And if its possible, to do so with family living in house during reconstruction. Also we could not move or remove big barn nor the garden shelter.

After going thru few proposals we decided to go ahead with remodeling roof space for sleeping spaces and refitting the first floor for living spaces, adding new stair case and kitchen. Leaving underground for storage and service area.
